Alpine F1 Team is a Formula 1 team of French origin with a factory in Enstone, United Kingdom. It is owned by Renault, which competed in the premier class under that name until 2020.

The Alpine brand, of sports and competition cars, was founded by Jean Rédélé in 1955. The company achieved great success with the marketing of the A110 sports coupe, launched in 1961. At that time, the brand and Renault already had a collaboration: the diamond firm already sold Alpine at its dealerships.

In the 1960s Alpine entered the world of rallying and in 1971 they became European champions. Two years later they became world champions with their A110 1800 and the Renault Group bought the brand and became the majority shareholder.
