Lando Norris was born in the United Kingdom, and is a driver who competes for the McLaren Formula 1 team.

Norris was born in the English city of Bristol in 1999. His sports career began in karting, a discipline in which he began at the age of seven and where he achieved world-class karting successes.

His single-seater debut in 2015 marked the beginning of a fruitful period in the sport's youth categories, where he has been crowned champion of British Formula 4, Formula Renault 2.0 and, more recently, the prestigious European Formula 3.

His debut in Formula 1 took place in the post-race tests of the 2017 Hungarian GP, where he was at the controls of the McLaren MCL33 for a day. He completed 91 laps and set a better time, and was faster than the official drivers of the McLaren team in the qualifying session of the Formula 1 Grand Prix.

In the 2023 season he runs for the McLaren team as well as in the 2022 Formula 1 season with his new partner Oscar Piastri.
